Earlier in her career she was a secondary school teacher, and then an instructor in the British Army, where she achieved the rank of Captain. Through recent assignments Fiona has added a global element to her understanding of corporate HR and L&R issues, as Head of Knowledge Development for a major City of London-based political and violent risk consultancy. She is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, holds the CIPD Advanced Certificate in Coaching & Mentoring (with Merit), is a qualified Myers Briggs practitioner, and has a BA degree in Politics from the Open University.
